I am having a hard time trying to close my eyes and go to sleep.  Because everytime I close my eyes I see your face and I hear your voice telling me that I was such a wonderful parent and how I had such an exceptional son.  You saw so much promise in him and he strives to be a business man because of you.  I am so glad that you stepped into his life and showed him the way.  Not that he was lost, but you gave him a reason to stay on the right path.  Working for you this summer is an experience that he got so much out of.  I never saw that side of my son and I thank God that you brought it out of him. 

I weep as I type because I can hear your voice telling me that it is all right and for me to go on.  I feel your hand on my shoulder and you telling me to 'quit thinking about the negative' and to go on and to continue to strive for success.  You taught me how to make connections and the importance of doing business with 'us'.

A great man left us Thursday.  Let his legacy live on, in Jesus name,
